Amy S. Breakstone, M.D.
I entered medicine with the intent of bringing change to women’s healthcare. Twenty-five years later, I am delighted to be part of the change that women, as a community, have accomplished. I have maintained contact with consumer advocacy groups while providing my patients with the means to attain their individualized health goals.
As treatment options change rapidly, I have enjoyed the opportunity to constantly learn more and offer women cutting edge surgical and medical interventions.
I have also enjoyed speaking on statewide Nutmeg TV as part of the “Hotflash” series in order to educate a wider audience on a range of women’s healthcare topics such as menopause, genetic counseling and adolescent gynecology.
I live in Bristol where my husband and I have raised three children. We enjoy international travel and are working to integrate this with international women’s health efforts. In 2010 and 2014, we traveled to Haiti to work with the Haitian Health Foundation, an organization I continue to support.
I look forward to working with you!
