At Central CT OB-GYN Women’s Health Group our team of physicians, midwives, clinicians and support staff is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of care. All of our physicians are female and are board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology, and all of them can see you at either of our office locations.
Amy S. Breakstone, M.D.
Dr. Breakstone received her bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in 1979. She then went on to earn her medical degree from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1983. After completing her residency at Stanford University Medical Center, she joined CCOG Women’s Health Group in 1989. Dr. Breakstone is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Suzanne E. Miller, M.D.
Dr. Miller attended Oklahoma State University where she received her undergraduate degree in 1982. She received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1986. Dr. Miller completed her residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1990 and joined the CCOG Women’s Health Group in 1995. Dr. Miller is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Wendy M. Latshaw, M.D.
Dr. Latshaw received her undergraduate degree from Colby College in 1984. She then worked for a year doing medical research at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1989. After completing her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Baystate Medical Center in 1993, she joined the CCOG Women’s Health Group. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Carmelina Luongo, M.D.
Dr. Luongo graduated from the accelerated six year combined Liberal Arts/Medical Program from Boston University & Boston University Medical School in 1993. She completed her residency at George Washington University Medical Center in 1997. She then joined CCOG Women’s Health Group. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Luongo is fluent in English and Italian and conversant in Spanish.
Candice Shea, M.D.
Dr. Candice Shea received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Massachusetts. She received her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, Saba, Netherlands Antilles. She completed her residency at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Macon, Georgia. Dr. Shea is board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
